Covestro (Thailand) joined ASEAN Youth Camp

Chonburi – Dr. Daniel Koch (left), Managing Director of Covestro (Thailand) Co., Ltd. received the token of appreciation from H.E. General Surasak Karnjanarat (right), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Minister, at the opening ceremony of ASEAN Youth Camp under the theme "ASEAN Youth Stepping Towards Environment Sustainability”.

Covestro (Thailand) welcomed over a hundred students, represented all countries in ASEAN region, to visit Covestro's polycarbornate production site in Map Ta Phut to learn about best practices on environment and community management as a part of the education program.

The week-long event, hosted by Thailand's Natural Resources and Environment Ministry, will see the youngsters learn and share views on sustainable development through the sufficiency economy as well as to see the best practices from the stakeholders in Thailand on how to align and implement Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their project.
